About - The Wax Factor

Hi There – Im Isabel McRobbie the proud owner of The Wax Factor in Airdrie.

The Wax Factor was founded from an idea 15 years ago. I was regularly being waxed so my sister and I trained in general and intimate waxing for men and women. We already had general beauty training prior to this and on the course our tutor Kim Lawless (The Wax Queen) suggested we start a business offering our existing beauty skills along with waxing – The Wax Factor was born in the summer of 2009 and we have not looked back since.

When we started we temporarily were placed in a salon for a few months but have for the last 15 years been home based where we have easy available off street parking and privacy.

The Salon has grown to be a successful business as we extend our beauty treatment menu consistently to be up to date and we are delighted we have so many returning clients and long may it continue.
